Abstract A combination of two or more generation technologies is employed, the similar reliability level as in case of single technology could be achieved at lower cost. A energy system utilizing more than one renewable energy resource to supply a variety of energy needs of the community is called an Integrated Renewable Energy System (IRES) The proposed work aims to develop an IRES for a rural and remote area to fulfill various energy needs of the population living over there.
