| Abstract | Brass electrode for simultaneous nickel and chromium removal from artificial wastewater by electrocoagulation process The present invention discloses a brass electrode for simultaneous removal of nickel and chromium from artificial wastewater by electrocoagulation process. The present invention also discloses the use of brass electrode during electrocoagulation process with high removal efficiency of Cr6+ and Ni2+ from wastewater with minimum operating cost and minimum energy consumption as compare to the various other electrode materials (Fe, Al and Cu). Hence, the brass electrode could be a good choice for removal of multi ions of heavy metal from industrial effluent and useful for wastewater treatment. |
