Abstract Our project aims at accomplishing the task of creating a Blockchain based land registrysystem. The objective is to completely replace the manual handling of land records as part of the traditional system, by a computer oriented system wherein peer-to-peer transactions will take place, without the involvement of middlemen. The parties involved in the transaction will be authenticated using their original identity documents. The transaction, which is represented by a “block”, will be initiated from the buyer’s side, validated by all the nodes present in the Blockchain network, and will finally be added to the existing Blockchain. Our project will include 3 important modules- a web portal for buying/selling of land, a Blockchain based storage to keep a record of land transactions and a web portal for viewing the blocks of transactions. We will be flexible with adding new modules to our project if required.
