Abstract Waste generation and management is becoming a global challenge resulting into increased environmental concern. Waste management and recycle into a sustainable construction material is proved to be an alternative for waste disposal helping out in the area of environmental pollution and economic. Recently, various type of waste has been used/reused in the development of sustainable construction. Paper wastes are being produced in a large quantity due to tremendous use of paper in all fields. In order to avoid the pollution generation from waste paper recycling, reuse of waste paper as an alternative is adopted for environment friendly construction. Now-a-days generally the uses of various waste papers are being carried out in various forms such as in preparation of paper blocks, paper Crete, and so on. Thus after the literature study on various papers that are recently published on these waste paper reuse for various construction purpose , various materials that are used in their preparation , the specific properties of the components, their composition and various tests that are carried out and as s a result we conclude to reuse the paper waste considering their various properties and their composition and most importantly eco-friendly nature and more economic to use the waste paper for enhancing the aesthetic view of construction. Thus resulting into reuse of this waste paper for preparation of ceiling panels.
