SSIP Awareness Session

The Electrical Engineering Department organized an SSIP Awareness Program for first-year students to introduce them to the institute's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Students were briefed about SSIP, its objectives, and the opportunities available to students for developing innovative ideas. The session explained the journey from identifying a problem to developing an innovative solution, prototype and potential startup. Students were also informed about various support mechanisms available under SSIP, including mentoring, prototype development assistance and funding opportunities.

Objectives

  • To create awareness about SSIP and its objectives.
  • To motivate first-year studentstowards innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • To explain the processof developing an idea into a prototype/startup.
  • To familiarize students with available mentoring, technical and financial support.
