SSIP Awareness Programme for First-Year Students

On 06 August 2026, the Mechanical Engineering Department of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), Chandkheda organized an SSIP Awareness Programme for first-year students to introduce them to the institute's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The session was conducted by Dr. Dhruv Panchal and coordinated by Prof. S. A. Pawar. The session familiarized students with the objectives of the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) and the opportunities available for developing innovative ideas into prototypes and startups. 

During the session, students gained an understanding of the journey from problem identification to innovative solution development, prototype creation, and potential startup formation. The resource person also highlighted the mentoring, prototype development assistance, funding opportunities, and institutional support available under SSIP, encouraging students to actively participate in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. 

The programme inspired students to develop an innovative mindset and explore opportunities to transform real-life problems into impactful solutions through structured guidance, technical support, and entrepreneurial resources available at the institute.
