On 27 April 2026, the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), Chandkheda organized an insightful expert lecture on “Start-up Incubation Pathways: How Students Can Join Incubators & Accelerators”, delivered by Mr. Jay Joshi (Program Head, i-Hub Gujarat). The session focused on helping students understand how innovative ideas can be transformed into real-world startups through structured incubation and support systems. Mr. Joshi introduced the Gujarat Student Startup & Innovation Hub (i-Hub) and explained its role in nurturing startups from the idea stage to commercialization.
He further elaborated on various government-backed initiatives, funding schemes, and incubation pathways available for student entrepreneurs. The session provided clarity on how students can enter the startup ecosystem, apply for incubation programs, and scale their ideas effectively. Through practical examples and real startup journeys, he emphasized the importance of innovation, execution, mentorship, and market readiness, while the interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation and deeper understanding among students.
