On 25 August 2026, the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) in coordination with the Chemical Engineering Department, organized Session-II under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE Driven Activities. The session focused on the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, and was conducted from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at J-205, H. B. Seminar Hall.
The session was conducted by Dr. Deepankumar Sahu, Assistant Director, AIC, along with Ms. Deepali Upadhyay and Mr. Pramit Das, officers from AIC, Government of India. A total of 34 participants attended the session. The programme provided participants with awareness about various initiatives under Atal Innovation Mission aimed at promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development.
The session covered Atal Tinkering Labs, industrial accelerators, sector-specific innovation initiatives, community centres for innovation, and the Atal New India Challenge. It also highlighted the role of these initiatives in supporting startups and strengthening the innovation ecosystem.
