The E-Cell of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, under the Institution's Innovation Council & Student Startup and Innovation Policy activity, organized an insightful visit visited the Venture Studio Ahmedabad University under the Institution's Innovation Council & Student Startup and Innovation Policy activity. The visit featured an engaging session by Jeremy Fritzhand, who shared insights into startup ecosystems, incubation, and entrepreneurial growth. He also discussed his first project on hand-printing (“Baru”), emphasizing the value of grassroots innovation and sustainable business models. Students later visited the DST Prayas Shala and BioNest incubation centre, where they explored advanced facilities for prototyping and biotechnology-based innovation. At BioNest, students actively interacted with various startups, gaining a deeper understanding of their entrepreneurial journeys, challenges, and growth strategies. These interactions highlighted how BioNest supports startups through mentorship, technical infrastructure, funding guidance, and a collaborative ecosystem, enabling them to scale their ideas effectively.The visit provided meaningful exposure to real-world innovation practices and reinforced the importance of practical learning alongside academics. It inspired students to explore entrepreneurship and contribute to impactful, innovation-driven solutions.
