Expert lecture on Economic Manufacturing

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an expert lecture at Birla Vishwakarma Engineering College (BVEC) to enhance students’ understanding of modern manufacturing practices. The session was delivered by Prof. P. M. Gorge, who shared valuable insights on Economic Manufacturing and Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

The lecture focused on cost-effective manufacturing techniques, emphasizing resource optimization, waste reduction, and improved production efficiency. Prof. Gorge explained various industrial strategies used to achieve economic manufacturing while maintaining product quality.
