A Workshop on Well Logs to Reservoir Discovery

09 January, 2026

The workshop on “Well Logs to Reservoir Discovery: Theory, Calculations, and Field-Based Insights in Oil & Gas Exploration “was organized by the Chemical Engineering Department under the banner of the IE(I) Students’ Chapter. It provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of petroleum exploration and reservoir discovery, covering theoretical concepts, calculations, and field-based practices. The workshop also familiarized students with current technologies and industry practices while creating awareness about career and research opportunities in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy sectors.
