The Chemical Engineering Department organized an expert talk on “Bridging Engineering and Finance: A Journey from Projects to Financial Strategy”, under the banner of the IE(I) Students Chapter. Students gained valuable insights into the evolving career opportunities within the financial sector, the growing demand for engineers in banking and fintech, and the importance of developing financial literacy alongside technical competence. The session also emphasized how data-driven thinking, customer-centric strategy, and digital transformation are reshaping financial operations. Overall, it motivated students to explore new interdisciplinary pathways and understand how engineering foundations can lead to impactful careers in finance.
