The Electronics & Communication department hosted a technical expert lecture by Ms. Saloni Thakkar. She has more than four years of experience as Data Scientist in translating ambiguous business problems into measurable outcomes through NLP, experimentation, forecasting, and causal inference. An expert was organized to provide students with insights into emerging trends, career opportunities, and industry expectations in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The session highlighted the rapid growth of AI across sectors such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, education, and smart technologies. A significant part of the talk focused on the importance of professional networking. The speaker emphasized how platforms like LinkedIn help students build a strong professional profile, showcase skills and projects, follow industry leaders, and stay updated with job opportunities. Students were encouraged to actively engage by sharing achievements, participating in discussions, and connecting with professionals.
