The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC) actively participated in the State NSS Day Camp, held from 22nd September to 24th September 2023 at Sardar Patel University, Anand. This event served as a platform to showcase volunteerism, leadership, and teamwork among NSS volunteers from various institutions.

Participation Details :

• Eight dedicated NSS volunteers from VGEC were selected to represent Gujarat Technological University (GTU) at the State level.
• The volunteers participated with enthusiasm and commitment, engaging in various competitions like Garba, Singing, Sanskrit slok speaking competition, etc and service-oriented activities.
• The event provided an opportunity for volunteers to network, exchange ideas, and enhance their leadership skills.

Objectives :

• To encourage active participation of NSS volunteers in State-level activities.
• To provide exposure to various social service initiatives and leadership training.
• To promote teamwork, responsibility, and commitment among volunteers.
• To enhance the visibility and recognition of NSS VGEC at a broader level.
