To contribute to the initiative Plogging Run taken by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with the dual aim of Clean India and Fit India, the NSS VGEC organized a Fit India Plogging Run of 2 km. Plogging run is a unique combination of picking up litter while jogging. The run was flagged off from the campus of VGEC. Volunteers of NSS VGEC collected all the plastic and paper wastes that came on their way from VGEC to Visat crossroads. The entire route of the run was made clean and no plastic and paper wastes were there on the route at the end of the run. It was overall a refreshing event and the motto of “Clean and Fit India” was fulfilled.
