Fit India Freedom Run 2.0

    To celebrate the ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri Anurag Thakur launched a nationwide programme Fit India Freedom Run 2.0.  ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav' is a series of events organised by the Government of India to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India's Independence.

The Fit India programme aims to encourage people to take up fitness activities such as running and sports in their daily lives and get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases, etc.

The NSS-VGEC organized ‘Fit India Freedom Run 2.0’ in virtual mode from VGEC Ground, Chandkheda as a part of ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ celebrations. Prof. Ghanshyam Shah explained the importance of fitness and did stretching and other exercises, along with the Freedom Run of 1 km.
