About the Event:

As part of the ongoing efforts to promote economic development and enhance the quality of life through gender equality, the Women’s Development Cell (WDC) of VGEC has organized an Essay Writing Competition on the significant topic of "Women Empowerment" under the initiative Vikas Saptah. 

Empowering women is not only essential for personal and social development but also crucial for a nation’s overall progress. This competition aims to encourage students to express their thoughts on women empowerment and contribute to meaningful discussions on gender equality and societal advancement.

A total of 20 students participated in the competition, representing various departments across the campus. The participants showcased their diverse perspectives and thoughts on the topic of women empowerment, reflecting the depth of understanding and the urgency of addressing gender equality in today’s society. After thorough evaluation by a panel of judges, 3 students were declared winners for their insightful essays. These participants were recognized for their exceptional writing, critical thinking, and creative solutions in promoting women's empowerment. 

Conclusion:-

The Women Empowerment Essay Writing Competition provided a valuable platform for students to express their views on one of the most critical issues of our time. The high level of participation and the quality of submissions reflect the enthusiasm and commitment of VGEC students to advocate for gender equality and social development. The Women’s Development Cell looks forward to organizing similar events in the future to continue promoting discussions and actions towards empowering women.

The event was a great success, and the contributions of all participants and the efforts of the organizing team were highly appreciated.
