Information & Communication Engineering Department had organised the Industrial Visit for semester V students on 23rd July, 2025,at BISAG. The main objective of visit was to awarestudents about new technologies and research in field of Communication and to help studentsto gain information regarding satellite communication and BISAG activities.
In first session, Shri Jayesh Makwana has given brief overview of functions of BISAG. He explained how BISAG is helpingto solve variousproblems of land, health, education, home and other government departments. He narrated that remote sensingand GIS applications have provided impetus to planning and development activities at grass root level as well as monitoring and management of various resources like land resources, water resources. BISAG has 10 studios for recording and broadcasting of various programs for spreading and sharing the educational knowledge to all parts of Gujarat.
In second session, students visited recording studio out of which one was working with normal technology and other was working with Chroma technology (used for changing the background of picture/video). Studentsalso visited editingsection and animation section and gainedknowledge about the same including the career option in the stated field. As per student’s feedback the visit was very insightful and useful in learning various communication aspects.
