Empowering School Students and teachers through Student Start-Up and Innovation Outreach

SSIP VGEC Chandkheda hosted a sensitization session titled “Empowering School Students and Teachers through Student Start-Up and Innovation Outreach” on 24.12.2024 at Gyandeep Vidyalaya, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad. 

The session was attended by 04 teachers and 97 eager students from grade 11. The SSIP (Student Startup and Innovation Policy) Awareness Program was designed to cultivate innovation and entrepreneurship among students and teachers in grades 9-12. The event aimed to foster awareness among students regarding the policy's intricacies and to elucidate the myriad opportunities it presents for entrepreneurial ventures and innovative projects. Central to the workshop was a discussion led by subject experts from the Information Technology and Computer Engineering department of VGEC. Moreover, students were encouraged to explore and propose their problem statements, with the promise of financial support to facilitate their endeavors. The workshop catalyzed inspiring students to channel their creativity and technical acumen toward meaningful innovation, thereby nurturing a culture of entrepreneurship and problem-solving within the academic community.

 Prof. Amit Rathod and Prof. Jignesh Vaniya played pivotal roles as SSIP faculty coordinators, ensuring that this event left an indelible mark on the journey of start-up and entrepreneurship.
