The Power Electronics Department of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda organized an expert talk on “State of the Art and Application of Industrial Drives for Elevator Control” with the kind permission of Dr. V. S. Purani Principal, VGEC, Chandkheda. The talk was attended by 75 students and 6 faculty members who were interested in gaining insights into the latest Development of the field. The speaker Kalpeshkumar Trivedi who is a Manager (Electrical Department) TRIO Elevator Co (India) Pvt. Ltd. Ahmedabad discussed his experience in the industry and state of the art and application of Soft starter and Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (V3F) drive. He talked about various career opportunities in the sector, and discussed future scope in this particular field.
