Mechanical Engineering Department organised the Industrial Visit for its students on 14th and 15th September, 2023, at pioneer engineering services. The main objective of visit was to make students explore new technologies and all methods of the casting process. At the end of the visit, interactive session was conducted to solve student’s queries. The visit concluded with the vote of thanks.

Learning Lessons:

• The first unit of the industry is raw material unit which including many type of raw materials with different alloy like iron, cast iron, Cr, Ni, steel, etc…
• The spectrometer lab is also there for checking quantity of different alloy in given product peace as per requirement.
• Exothermic slives are used for checking quality of material.
• There are also having other units like moulding unit, pattern shop unit, press unit, melting unit, knockout unit, etc… for further casting process.
• Primary finishing unit like hand inner or outer grinder for give semi finishing to the product.
• Other units like heat treatment unit, shot blasting unit for improving quality, strength of product and give final finishing to product
