NSS VGEC organized a 7-day Special Camp under the leadership of Dr. Alpesh Dafda (NSS-PO, VGEC) from March 22nd to 28th, 2022 at Adalaj village of Gandhinagar district. Rainwater Harvesting was the core focus of the Special Camp which included a variety of additional activities for the welfare and development of the village people.

Activities carried out under Special Camp 2022:

• Village survey
• Digital and Government Policies awareness                                
• Documents making (Aadhar card, MAA card, etc.)
• Health and Eye Check-up Camp 
• National Voter awareness workshop
• Importance of Physical Education and Sports Day
• Rally on Waste Management and workshop on Solid waste management 
• Rainwater Harvesting (Explanation through models and videos) 
• Self-Defense workshop
