25 students of the IIChE Student Chapter of the Chemical Engineering Department along with faculty coordinator, Dr. Ujvala Christian visited Unit-II of Macropolymers Pvt. Ltd., Opp. Nova Petrochem, Sarkhej - Bavla Road, Ahmedabad. IIChE Student Chapter has organized this Industrial Visit to have a better understanding of the intricacies involved in applying the theoretical concepts of chemical engineering learnt by the students.

• Working of major process equipment like jacketed agitated batch reactor, absorption column, plate and frame heat exchanger, boiler, and cooling tower
• Utility section of the plant
• Research and Development Laboratory and Pilot plant
• Fire and Safety Department
• HR Department
