“Nobody is bothered more about an institution more than its alumni” is not only a quote but it’s a marvelous idea on which VGEC Alumni Association foundation is laid upon. VGEC-AA has been registered as a society in 2015 in year with the motive to bridge the gap between past and present students. Various activities have been carried out jointly by past and present students, such as technical expert talks, motivational talks, Central alumni meet, alumni recognition awards and so on. Each of our precious students, who have left a foot print on this college, is a member of this grand legacy that is VGEC.

Objectives of VAA

To establish, develop and maintain contact among the past and present students and the staff of the Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Ahmedabad. By maintaining interaction between Alumnus and the Institute, increase and maintain high standards of education.
To enhance relationship with Industries in the benefit of students of the Institute.
To extend co-operation to the Institute in its future development plans.
To encourage and assist the students of the Institute for various curricular and extracurricular activities.
To promote Vishwakarma Government Engineering College Alumni Association (VGEC-AA) activities in India and abroad to enhance reputation of VGEC as a premier teaching and research institute with high standards of excellences in engineering & technology, to enhance the skills and knowledge of the members of the Association and assist VGEC to maintain these standards.

VGEC-AA presents a platform for all our past and present students to pitch in their expertise to take forward VGEC, to its ultimate heights. Our Dear students and alumni are the forces that help this campus become so dynamic. Our young and creative minds have made VGEC one of the foremost institutions in the state on the Innovation Quotient. VAA is indeed a lively community that is always present to take its alma mater to its full blown potential.

As a volunteer: To get involved as a volunteer in IEEE VGEC Student Branch you have to contact Mohit Patel, Secretary of IEEE VGEC SB. You will have to give an interview and we will select you based on your performance and skills.
