Abstract Cooling through evaporation is a natural occurrence. Evaporative cooling lowers the temperature of air using the principle of evaporative cooling, converting sensible heat into latent heat. Cost of energy is increasing day by day. It is the need of the time to develop the technology which reduces the energy consumption. Any industry or house or building that is using any type of air conditioning system is associated with the generation of heat or waste affecting the environment. Their impacts on the ecological bodies, living and non-living environment are noticeable and alarming issue to the environmentalist. In this patent, work is done on the system operating on the principle of evaporative cooling of water for indirect air cooling. Based on this concept, a split air cooler is developed, which functions like an air conditioning system, at the cost of air cooler.
