Abstract | The system we are trying to build is expected to help visually impaired people to find the best routes and easily navigate in closed areas such as college and university campus, government buildings, corporate areas and many more. This project aims to build a device that has a map of a particular building or area fed into it such that visually impaired could tell he device where they want to go, and the device finds the best route and communicates using a speaker and a mic, that are part of that device. This aids those people to reach their required spot in the area/building with having minimum help from strangers, and without having to roam around cluelessly. The project aims to capture the co-ordinates of rooms and spaces in the campus, and then creating a map using those coordinates, which then will be used to navigate people from one place to another. Which means the device itself will have a tracker. And we will use AiML to find the best routes possible. |
