An expert lecture titled “Engineering Safety: A Deep Dive into ONGC’s Drilling Operations” was organized by the Chemical Engineering Department, under the banner of the IE(I) Students Chapter. The primary objective of this expert lecture was to expose students to real-world engineering safety practices in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on drilling operations at ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation). The session aimed to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and field applications in safety engineering, risk assessment, and emergency response.
