The SSIP Cell of the Electrical Engineering Department at VGEC Chandkheda successfully organized two events to foster innovation, entrepreneurial skills, and technical advancements among students. These events occurred on February 10th and 24th, 2025, at the Atal Incubation Centre, GTU Chandkheda. The primary goal was to provide students with the opportunity to explore and develop their skills in engineering, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The events organized by the SSIP Cell in collaboration with the Electrical Engineering Department of VGEC Chandkheda were highly impactful, providing students with practical learning experiences, exposure to the latest technological trends, and opportunities to engage in entrepreneurship. With a positive turnout and high engagement from participants, the events were an overall success, contributing to the academic and professional growth of the students. The event was coordinated by Prof. Rozina Surani.
AIC-GISC Foundation, owned by Gujarat Technological University, is a Section 8 Non-Profit organization. It receives support from Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog. The foundation's primary mission is to assist technology startups and foster innovation through various means, including dedicated lab suites, shared labs, co-working spaces, and access to specialized facilities. Leveraging the resources of GTU and its extensive network. AIC-GISC Foundation provides a conducive environment for startups to thrive and promote cutting-edge innovation. Students have visited a co-working space, a Meeting area, a Biotech laboratory, Robotics lab, Prototype lab, and various startups which were incubated under GTU.
