The Chemical Engineering Department, under the banner of the IE(I) Student’s Chapter, organized an expert lecture on “Fire Fundamentals & Industrial Fire Prevention Measures.” The session provided valuable insights into fire behavior, ignition sources, and key industrial fire hazards.  Emphasis was placed on proactive safety measures, fire suppression techniques, and regulatory compliance to prevent industrial accidents. The expert speaker highlighted best practices in industrial fire safety, stressing the importance of risk assessment and emergency preparedness. The session witnessed active participation from students and faculty, fostering meaningful discussions and enhancing their understanding of fire prevention strategies in industrial settings.
