IEEE VGEC Student Branch just staged an incredible IEEE Day 2023 party. Every first Tuesday of October is commemorated as IEEE Day, however due to the academic calendar of the VGEC students, IEEE VGEC SB arranged a post-celebration with a list of fun and interactive events. Among these activities are Ted Talks, Tech Fairs, and Garba gatherings. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023. The event attracted almost 400 VGEC students.

Detailed Descriptions and Glimpse:

Event1:  TED TALK

 Ted talk is designed to educate 1st and 2nd-year students, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) and its application in learning.

• Dr. Jitendra Bhatia delivered a presentation covering the fundamental concepts of IoT and the necessity for its integration into various fields.
•  The talk discussed the significance of efficiency, time complexity, and space complexity, emphasizing strategies to enhance these aspects within IoT systems.
• Dr. Madhukant Patel shared practical insights into IoT, showcasing his own IoT devices and leveraging his extensive experience as a scientist.
• Attendees had the opportunity to view real-time projects undertaken by students at Nirma University and those working under the guidance of Dr. Madhukant Patel.
• The session concluded by encouraging students to reach out for assistance whenever they require support in working on similar IoT projects.
